This route boasts 5.5 miles of singletrack that winds its way between Minaret Vista and the Earthquake Fault and can be ridden either direction, though the downhill option is more popular. Pumice, lodgepole, steep grinds (or descents, if ridden as a downhill) and cambered turns can be expected. Spectacular views of the San Joaquin Valley await you at the summit if you make the grunt up. If you'd rather ride top to bottom, have a buddy drop you at Minaret Vista, then ride down Mountain View to the Earthquake Fault. For a longer ride, cross the road to link up with the Downtown trail, which spits you out at the North Village.
