Convict Lake is a great place for bait and spin fishing and a fun place for kids to learn. The surrounding mountains - especially majestic Mt. Morrison - create a spectacular setting, and the sparkling blue waters of the 170-acre lake are incredibly refreshing. Boating is permitted on Convict Lake, although there are also plenty of excellent spots to fish from the 2 miles of shoreline. Bring a picnic lunch or some charcoal and make a day of it with angling and a barbecue! Bait, tackle, snacks and boat rentals are available at adjacent Convict Lake Resort.
