The Sotcher Lake Feeder trail is a pleasant, relatively flat stroll through meadows and mixed conifer forest. From its trailhead (across Minaret Road from the turnoff to Minaret Falls Campground), the trail climbs slightly to its halfway point and then descends gently down to the north shore of Sotcher Lake, where there are multiple options for looping back or continuing down-valley toward Reds Meadow, Devils Postpile or Rainbow Falls.
