The McLeod Lake Spur is a short and popular connector trail between the north shore of McLeod Lake and the Mammoth Pass Trail. Hiking out or back on the Mammoth Pass Trail, this is a worthy detour through the forest for open views of the Mammoth Crest, a respite on the sandy beaches of McLeod Lake, or a quick swim in the cold clear meltwater.
