This 4.5 mile lollipop loop is a great handcycle ride for those who want to explore town. Starting from Shady Rest Park, the Shady Rest Path is a good warm-up to the steadier climb up Main Street. Note that the paved path along Main stops shortly after the Post Office, so be sure to cross and take the Frontage Road up to the Town Loop at Callahan Street. This section of the path is very quiet, snaking between the Joaquin Street neighborhood and the Sierra Star golf course. At Meridian, ride down along the road in the bike lane. Turn onto Sierra Park Road and cruise back onto the path to finish at Shady Rest Park.
