The round-trip run between Twin Lakes Vista and Horseshoe Lake is filled with breathtaking views! While the route starts with a steady grind up the Lakes Basin Path to Lake Mary, it dips and rolls from there to the turnaround at Horseshoe Lake, providing some relief. The return trip to Twin Lakes Vista is sweet downhill reward as you weave in and out of the surrounding woods. Be aware of other trail users, including bikers, walkers and small children, and be especially alert to equestrians when passing the Pack Station and other horse crossings.
