Pets at the Sherwin Meadows Trailhead and Kerry Meadow

Do you have Pets Experiences you'd like to share? Find out How!

  • Leash laws are in effect at Sherwin Meadows Trailhead, but there's plenty of opportunity for your dog to sniff out new friends and play! Park at the Sherwin Meadows Trailhead, then take the gravel/dirt road that heads west past Kerry Meadow toward the iconic Mammoth Rock and Sherwins Meadow. Although you rarely meet vehicles on this road, be aware that cars and bikes are allowed. When you get to Kerry Meadow, run sprints with your dog to tire him out and then plop down on the side of the road for a few minutes of relaxation before heading back to the car.
